yo, sounds good to me. my one question is, if the unspeakable happens (it shouldn't, i hope it doesn't) and i, or any other member, miss enough scrims to be removed from the team, would i be off forever, or for the season? would just shifting to sub be a possibility? i'm not worried about this possibly happening, just curious. either way, i'm in. love, galactic :3 This will be addressed case by case. As I told Cryobolt, there's often a difference between the letter of the law, and the spirit of the law. I think if you look at established teams, they don't have a "lettered" law, because they all already understand and buy into the spirit. We, however, did not buy into the spirit. I struggled to schedule scrims, and wasn't held accountable when I didn't. In return, the few times I did, we got miserable attendance. We needed a letter of the law, so that we could begin to better understand the spirit. That being said, failure to uphold these rules, which are despite my hardass language pretty lax in my opinion, to me would profoundly illustrate that the person in question simply doesn't have enough time to be a part of a competitive UGC team. This isn't a bad thing, just a reality. You aren't "dishonorably discharged" and forced to turn in your badge (for example, if you still loved the team, wanted to wear the D and sub when you can, that probably wouldn't be an issue depending on the circumstances), it's simply time to have an honest conversation about how that person's schedule doesn't align with the schedule of the team. Again, not a bad thing, just a reality.
